- This position will be responsible for filling prescriptions and dispensing drugs in a secure inpatient forensic facility. May compound drugs under close supervision.

- Hourly payrate: Level II- $15.14/hr, Level I- $13.46/hr
- Primary Working Hours are: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
- FLSA Status: Non Exempt

- Level I- Education and experience requirements at this level consist of six moths of experience as a pharmacy clerk or work involving the maintenance of inventory records; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting the completion of fifteen semester hours of college course work for the required experience.
- Level II- Education and experience requirements at this level consist of two years of experience as a pharmacy clerk and possession of a pharmacy technician permit issued by the Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy and/or other recognized pharmacy technician certification board as required be the hiring entity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting the completion of thirty semester hours of college course work for each year of the required experience.
- Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license.

The Oklahoma Forensic Center encompasses a secure inpatient forensic facility, forensic step-down unit Transitions Recovery Center (TRC) and jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita employs around 260 individuals and has approximately 216 consumers whom have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. The Oklahoma Forensic Center also houses the Transitions Recovery Center (TRC) which is a secure 52-bed forensic step-down unit.
Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing:
Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
