- Flex Shift Day/Evening
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve the best patient outcomes for patients of all ages as appropriate to the service area.
- Determine and perform within clinical, leadership, and/or education pathways to support quality patient care service and performance improvement, anticipating and effectively handling crisis/emergency situations based on sound judgment, escalation, and advanced skills.
- Manage resources, establish priorities, and adjust the environment to meet patient care needs.
- Collaborate with case management and social work to facilitate patient flow.
- Coordinate the admission, transfer, and discharge process across disciplines and service lines.
- Contribute actively to the overall positive patient experience through excellent customer service skills.

How You'll Help Transform Healthcare
As a valuable member of the healthcare team, take on the main responsibility for nursing coordination and providing personalized care for patients of all ages. Use delegation and critical thinking skills to deliver high-quality service through a team-oriented, collaborative approach to patient care. Help with the admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
What We Require
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care required; 2 years preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. AHA-BLS-ACLS certification required.
Other: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service skills, positive leadership role modeling, and problem resolution skills. Knowledgeable about basic computer and phone applications. Successfully complete orientation and maintain requirements. Position involves lifting and extended periods of standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking. May be exposed to infectious diseases, biohazards, hazardous materials, including regulated wastes, and combative patients.
