    Job Summary:

    The primary responsibility of the Cook is to welcome guests, take orders & collect appropriate payments and preparing exquisite sandwiches. All duties are performed in accordance with all policies, practices and procedures.

    • Hourly rate of $13.75 to $15.25 depending on experience, Tipped position.
    • Full Time employees can sign up for medical, dental, vision, life, & disability benefits in 30 days of employment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Welcome guests and provide a high level of service, accurately and in a timely manner
    • Collect appropriate payment from guests and input in POS system
    • Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains it to guests accurately.
    • Accurate and efficient cash handling and reporting
    • Ensure all products are rotated on a first-in, first-out philosophy
    • Maintain and exhibit a solid knowledge and understanding of all food products and skillfully apply culinary and cooking techniques
    • Identify and safely use all kitchen equipment
    • Regularly restock all kitchen supplies and food items required for service
    • Properly label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
    • Read, measure, and execute recipes
    • Ensure food quality is superior and takes action to correct any irregularities
    • Answer basic property and DTLV questions and provide information
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
    • Follow all SNHD guidelines

    Qualifications:

    • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skills
    • Exceptional cash handling skills and working knowledge of POS systems
    • Able to effectively communicate in English in both the verbal and written form
    • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and weekends

    Education/Experience:

    • One (1) year of previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
    • High school diploma or equivalent is required
    • Ability to obtain work card, health card and TAM
    • Must be 21+ years old
