About the Role

This part-time position offers a great staff and company culture, with well-compensated work hours from Monday to Friday. You will not be required to work nights or weekends, and you can enjoy the benefits of sign-on and referral bonuses.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage wound care in the nursing home environment, ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort.
• Work under the supervision of staff physicians, who will provide guidance and support as needed.
• Educate personnel on wound care best practices, utilizing your expertise to improve patient outcomes.

Wound Care Specialist Job Description

We expect our Wound Care Specialists to:

• Stay up-to-date with assigned materials and demonstrate their knowledge through documents and conversations.
• Develop a strong foundation in wound care within a month, with continuous improvement over the next three months.
• Effectively manage the care of patients' wounds, visiting an average of 2-4 facilities per day with 18-25 patients.
• Communicate effectively with PCPs, families, and clinical teams as needed.
