- We are hiring immediately for a part-time GRILL COOK/ KITCHEN MANAGER position for approx. 30 hours per week. This is duel position. Your position involves cooking AND customer service at this facility.
- Location: Carpenters Training Center, 652 Ridge Road, Pittsburgh, PA Carnegie/Robinson Area) No bus line is available.
- Schedule: Daylight schedule available. 7:00am - 1:00pm (Monday to Thursday). Additional Saturday mornings available.
- Requirement: Previous grill cook experience is required. Customer service experience a plus.
- Starting Pay: $18 per hour depending on experience. This position could have full time opportunity in the future.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of small cafeteria.
- Prepare all grill items to order according to the daily menu.
- Previous grill cook experience (breakfast/lunch preferred)
- Set up, break down and clean the grill station.
- Check quality of food items, making sure they meet standards of taste, appearance and correct temperature
- Interact with our guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.
- Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
- Assist fellow team members at every opportunity.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
- This position requires full mobility and the ability to lift, carry and pulling up to 40 pounds.
- Standing/and or Walking 100% of the time.
- Your own reliable transportation is required. This is not on a bus line.
