- Build relationships with the early childhood community within the region so that early childhood professionals develop a comfort level with the Arizona Registry, FTF Scholarship Program and Arizona PBS education services.
- Provide Registry and FTF Scholarship T/A to the regions early childhood professionals, teachers, center directors and those who work on behalf of the early childhood profession.
- Assist and work closely with early childhood faculty, department chairs and college liaisons at any and all institutes of higher education in the region.
- Participate in the regions early childhood system, such as: attend the regions FTF Regional Partnership Council meetings, sit on early childhood local committees as necessary, participate in the regions early childhood conference planning.
- Ability and willingness to drive, using personal vehicle, the vast distances within Cochise, Pima, Santa Cruz, Graham, and Greenlee Counties.
- Must be able to work independently in a remote work setting, as the main office is in Phoenix. Communicate regularly with supervisor, participate in all online staff meetings and attend face to face meetings in Phoenix when requested.
- Living in the Pima County, Arizona
- Evidence of having a Minimum of Bachelors degree in Early Childhood or closely related field as detailed in the FTF Registry Standards of Practice (
- Experience in facilitating adult learning experiences
- Experience in building relationships in the community
- Evidence of effective communication skills
- Evidence of organizational and time management skills
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Documents
- Experience using online systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Arizona Early Childhood Registry
- Our office is located in Phoenix, AZ, but this position will perform duties from the home office in the Pima County area . Activities will include travel, meetings at partner sites and facilitating events and workshops.
- Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts.
- Must clearly communicate to perform essential functions.
- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Arizona PBS Education & Community Impact department provides services throughout all of Cochise, Pima, Santa Cruz, Graham, and Greenlee Counties, including the Tohono Oodham Nation and Pascua Yaqui Tribe. This project is grant funded from First Things First. We are searching for a Coordinator Senior (Regional Outreach Coordinator) who is located/living in Pima County area of Arizona to provide outreach, marketing and technical assistance for the Arizona Early Childhood Workforce Registry and the FTF College Scholarship Program.
