    Job Summary & Responsibilities

    The Business Development Representatives (BDRs) work closely with senior bankers to identify and develop relationships with executives of technology companies. The BDR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects acting as the initial point of contact The BDR's primary focus will be researching prospects in your pipeline and performing outreach via email and social media, with the goal of scheduling calls for the Company's senior bankers.

As a BDR, you will be immersed in the dynamic world of technology, focused on finding highly attractive founder-led businesses and partnering with senior bankers to build relationships with these prospects.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Own lead development work for both the firm and your pod
    • Utilize proprietary content to engage with leads and generate meetings for the Associate and/or other senior bankers within your pod
    • Drive consistent, scalable outreach across your leads, personalizing where appropriate
    • Work closely with your team and marketing to continually improve our approach to lead engagement, meeting generation, follow-up, etc.
    • Ensure you are meeting and/or exceeding daily/weekly/monthly KPIs; continually refine your process to drive higher results
    • Responsible for maintaining and updating Salesforce data for your pod's leads; this includes sector categorization which will allow for more tailored communication
    • When appropriate, identify new founders or executives we have not yet engaged with at existing leads

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree
    • 1+ years of inside sales or business development related sales experience
    • Ability to assist in coordinating sales functions including prospecting and leads research
    • Comfortable communicating with Founders, CEOs and other executives
    • Proven track record demonstrating strong articulation of product or service selling points via phone and email
    • Must be self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently
    • Able to excel in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
