Tax Manager to join our growing tax team to help drive this mission forward.
As Senior Tax Manager, you will oversee business and individual tax client relationships; lead, manage, and develop the tax team and review their work; and collaborate with Accounting, Virtual CFO, and Disputes team members to create a holistic and strategic client experience.

Areas of ResponsibilityConduct final review of tax returns and sign returnsConsult with clients on proactive tax strategy and, when needed, resolve their complaintsCoach, mentor, and manage a team of tax professionalsOwn tax team processes and KPIsActivity SummaryOptimize team throughput and quality:Mentor, train, and coach team members to meet and exceed performance targetsHold team accountable to production targets, project statuses, and deadlinesDevelop and revise processes to optimize and streamline the tax preparation processTimely review tax returns and other deliverables for accuracy and alignment with established client tax strategy, savings opportunities, and compliance with tax lawPrioritize client experience:Maintain and strengthen strong client relationships by managing their expectations, consistently delivering value, and prioritizing both proactive and responsive communicationsTranslate "tax code" into "business owner speak"Identify and operationalize areas where clients can save money on taxesWork with team members to create and execute communication plans for clientsIdentify and offer additional client service opportunities (such as bookkeeping, virtual CFO, M&A due diligence)
Work with clients to resolve complaints or quality issuesResearch and consult on complex tax matters and proactive solutions for clientsContinuous improvement :
