    Summary:

    The Systems Administrator provides support to ValidaTek staff focusing on end user support, troubleshooting, and administration of corporate IT systems. This role interacts with users daily providing support, administration, and maintenance activities. Manages information systems and applications through the organization. May include programming, analysis, networking, documentation, and/or administration responsibilities. Researches and recommends technical, process, and policy solutions. Executes information systems projects.?

    Responsibilities:
    • Provides world-class end user technical support and troubleshooting across a variety of systems and applications in person and remotely.?
    • Configures, deploys, and maintains user-facing hardware and software.?
    • Documents, tracks, resolves, and reports issues and requests in the service management system.?
    • Maintains IT hardware and software inventory.?
    • Configures and maintains user accounts for hiring, access control, and offboarding activities.?
    • Participates in security and PMO exercises relating to certification and compliance activities.?
    • Makes process and system improvement recommendations to assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives, leveraging best practices and professional experiences.?
    • Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.?
    • Provides recommendations on tools to monitor and support all environments.?

    Qualifications:
    • Knowledge - Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry practice & general knowledge of other related specialties.??
    • Problem Solving - Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. Uses judgement & imagination to solve problems.? May refer to established precedents and policies.??
    • Discretion/Latitude - Work is performed under general direction. Participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.??
    • Impact - Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.? Errors or failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations typically cause delays in schedules & considerable expenditure of resources.??

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of related experience and a Bachelors degree in Information Systems, or a combination of equivalent experience and training.??
    • Must be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance.
    • CompTIA Security + CE certification Required within 90 days of hire.
    • Office 365 administration experience Required?
    • At least one year of experience supporting Corporate IT users and systems - Desired
    • Microsoft Intune/Autopilot experience Desired
    • Atlassian product suite experience - Preferred
    • Experience performing ISO 27001/20000, CMMI and CMMC audits/compliance reports Preferred?

    • Qualified individuals should have hands-on experience with and a solid understanding of network concepts, Windows Server environments (2012 and later), Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and other cloud-based technologies.?
    • Experience supporting users of Windows and Mac computers in a Windows network infrastructure for a medium-sized corporate environment.?
    • Confident and professional manner when dealing with peers and organizational personnel at all levels?
      The ability to effectively communicate complex topics and procedures with team members and all other organizational personnel.??
