We are currently accepting applications for the position of Childcare Specialist at Promise. Promise is an outpatient substance use program providing services for adult women. Onsite childcare for children 6 and under is provided and therefore Childcare Specialists are an essential part of our programming.

Schedule:

Days: Monday through Thursday

Hours: 7:30am - 6:00PM

Compensation:

$ $19.79 per hour (depending on experience)

Additional compensation available for Spanish speakers, after testing proficiency

Essential Functions: (Performs all or some of the following)

Provides child care services in a therapeutic child care setting

Maintains organization of assigned clinic systems

Ensures the children's program environment is safe, hazard-free and nurturing

Assists program staff in the development of comprehensive treatment plans

Coordinates and interacts with community agencies, the court system and various public agencies

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED AND one (1) year post high school education in social work, psychology or a related field AND one (1) year of general work experience OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience
2. Must be 21 years or older
3. Must have a current/valid Drivers License

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
