Clearwater Construction is currently accepting resumes for experienced Heavy/Highway Construction Laborers for our operations in Screven County, Georgia. Job duties include general labor duties on heavy/highway and bridge construction projects in a safe, efficient manner to achieve a quality finished product. At least 5 years of experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for construction and have an appreciation for the fast-paced environment of our industry. We are looking for experienced laborers with knowledge of tools and equipment including rollers, tampers, measuring tapes and other equipment as necessary per the job. Must also have a willingness to work outdoors in various conditions, including hot and cold weather.

In this position, your primary responsibility will be performing duties necessary to the successful completion of heavy/highway construction projects. Job duties may include any of the following:

Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects.

Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed.

Load, unload, and identify construction materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.

Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.

Operation of various equipment.

Perform all work efficiently and safely in accordance with State, Federal and Clearwater Construction Inc. regulations

Works within a team to finish assigned tasks on time with high standards of quality

JOB REQUIREMENTS

At least 5 years of Heavy/Highway Construction experience is REQUIRED

Strong work ethic

Work outside in all types of weather

Attentive, alert and observant

Ability to comprehend and carry out instruction

Valid drivers license

Pre-employment drug test

Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures and work harmoniously and cooperatively with others at all times.
