- Follows the individualized treatment plan set by the primary Physical Therapist.
- Administers personalized physical therapy treatments and exercises.
- Assists the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
- Leads treatment groups under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.
- Educates customers, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques.
- Collaborates with the rehabilitation team to tailor programs to each customer's needs.
- Maintains accurate documentation for all customers.
- Participates in customer care and staffing meetings on behalf of the physical therapy department.
- Manages equipment maintenance and repair needs.
- Emphasizes Customer Service: Ensures top-quality, compassionate care that respects individuals' needs and rights.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program endorsed by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as per state regulations.
- Capable and willing to practice physical therapy following state guidelines.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
