SCHEDULE FTE:

PRN PRIMARY FUNCTIONS Performs cardiovascular ultrasound and/or other studies to provide information for use in diagnostics, as ordered by the provider.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education, Experience, and Training + Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.+ Must be registered as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) to perform echocardiograms and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) for vascular studies or eligible for registry.

+ Must have successfully completed an accredited ultrasound program or on-the-job training if not already registered or registry eligible.

+ Ability to learn and navigate computer systems including the online training modules, the employee timesheet and the performance appraisal system.

Job specific systems are also required.+ Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.

Must use, and require staff to use, when in hospital and pre-hospital settings, proper body mechanics and ergonomics and, as applicable, lifting/moving devices.+ Twisting

• Infrequent.

• Moderate.

+ Squat/Kneel

• Approximately 25% of shift.
