    The responsibilities of a Training Specialist can be broken down into three areas:

    Training and Development:

    This involves conducting staff training sessions ensuring regulations are met, developing a training calendar with various options, maintaining training records, and keeping training materials updated.


    Program Management:
    This includes establishing training goals, creating program manuals, and supporting foster care programs (recruiting foster parents).

    Professionalism and Operations:
    This involves maintaining relationships with colleagues, working flexible hours, upholding confidentiality and ethical standards, and meeting deadlines.

    Experience in child welfare space working with immigrant populations
    Bilingual in Spanish and English.

    Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services

    5 years of experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management capabilities

    OR

    Bilingual in Spanish and English

    Master's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services

    3 years of experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management capabilities
