Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Plant Manger to lead a team of Plant personnel, including forklift operators, wood yard, and quality control personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be motivated to grow with the Company. The Plant Manager will oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring smooth and efficient production in a safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of forklift operators, wood yard, and quality control personnel. Plant may run 2nd & 3rd Shifts seasonally.
  • Prioritize safety as the top concern, implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
  • Monitor and optimize production processes to meet quality standards and production goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflow and enhance productivity.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address safety, quality, and operational issues.
  • Train, mentor, and lead the plant staff to ensure a high level of competence and teamwork.
  • Implement and enforce compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve overall plant efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on plant performance, identifying areas for improvement.

    • Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in plant management or a related role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety protocols, quality control, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with forklift operations and quality control procedures.
