- Prepare lab for classes, help dismantle and clean up after lab activities.
- Function as a lab instructor during class labs.
- Demonstrates the safe and proper use of lab equipment and hazardous or bio hazardous materials.
- Provide leadership and positive role modeling for students.
- Attend annual program meeting.
- Participate in the assessment of student learning annual report.
- Maintain student and course records.
- Maintain and file current course outlines, objectives and grading procedures for all courses.
- Exhibit innovative and adaptive instructional methods.
- Provide continuing education experiences for the community.
- Completes all mandatory training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Current National Registry of EMTs certification as a Paramedic

- Previous teaching experience or field training.
- Experience in education technology, simulation technology, or related area.
- Familiarity with Emergency Medical Responder, Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, and Paramedic registry skill and practices.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to include some nights and weekends.
- Work will be performed in an office environment with a significant amount of public contact, in person, by telephone, via email, and various communication platforms.
- Duties require extended periods of sitting, standing, talking, listening and computer usage.
- Instructor will perform duties inside structures or in laboratory simulations.
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting up to 75 lbs. unassisted, bending, standing, climbing or walking. (Any items weighting more than 45 lbs. must be team lifted per OSU safety regulations.).
