- Develop and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes for the epitaxial growth of semiconductor materials.
- Analyze and interpret process data to identify areas for improvement, yield enhancement, and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with equipment engineering and production teams to introduce new technologies and process improvements into production.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues to minimize downtime and improve yield.
- Design and execute process experiments to validate and optimize process parameters for quality and productivity improvements.
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, defect rates, and equipment utilization, to identify areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to operators and technicians in troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Planning and directing initiatives that improve the Performance of the Fab and company.
- Bachelor or university degree in Electrical, Chemical, Materials Science Engineering, or related field.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, with specific expertise in epitaxial growth techniques preferred.
- > 5 years of hands-on experience with semiconductor fabrication equipment, such as epitaxy reactors, wafer handlers, and metrology tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
