PROJECT CONTROLS SPECIALIST - BALTIMORE, MDThis is an on-site position in Baltimore, MD. Please apply only if you can work in Baltimore, MD.
POSITION SUMMARY
Arya Consultants, Inc.
is accepting resumes for a full-time Project Controls Specialist in Baltimore area for an experienced professional who has extensive experience and knowledge in design and implementation of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS), CPM scheduling, and design and development of static and dynamic reports.
This is a on-site position and may require occasional project site visits. Exceptional candidates will be considered for hybrid work (minimum 3 days per week on-site.)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, and test Project Management Information System (PMIS) for capital projects.
Design and develop new modules within the PMIS for various business processes.
Review and improve existing modules and workflows within the PMIS.
Test updated or new modules in the test environment for accuracy and functionality.
Identify and develop business processes maps for the client's business processes
Identify key stakeholders for each module in the PMIS and develop workflows for them if required.
Act as the administrator and manage and train the users.
Design and develop project- and program-level reports and dashboards from various data sources such as the PMIS.
Develop Power BI dashboards from PMIS like Unifier as well as Scheduling programs like Primavera P6
Closely work with project managers and provide project controls support to them.
Develop and review project- and program-level CPM schedules and develop reports from the schedules in MS Project Professional
Other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural/ Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related Engineering disciplines is required.
Master's degree or Ph.
D. in Architecture, Architectural/ Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related Engineering disciplines is preferred.
Minimum 8 or more years of experience in the architectural, engineering, and construction industry or similar experience.

Proficient in using reporting tools such as Power BI
Familiarity with database languages such as SQL
Proficient in CPM scheduling using MS Project Professional and Primavera P6
Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
Familiarity with Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and methodologies
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma techniques and methodologies
CERTIFICATES/ LICENSES
Licensure as either a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) in Maryland or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment is preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.CCM certification is preferred.
PMI-SP or PSP certification is preferred.
The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

$45-$63
