Youth Care Specialist - Harvest FWB Child Care Ministries, Inc.

Mission: To provide a healthy Christian home environment, caring parents, and a wholesome family life for the abused, neglected, abused, and troubled children placed in our care.

Position Title: Residential Counselor / Youth Care Specialists (couples or singles may apply)

Schedule: (1) 7 day on / 7 day off rotating live-in schedule hour shifts 4 days one week / 3 days the next

Job Duties:

̈ Provide care and nurturing to residents in the group home or Emergency Shelter program. Interact with children and implement daily living schedule

̈ Transport to school, doctors, dentists, mental health appointments, court, etc.

̈ Teach daily life and social skills through chores, recreation, homework, etc.

̈ Responsible to maintain the household according to health and safety standards

̈ Prepare meals per menu

̈ Maintain assigned vehicle

̈ Conduct daily devotions with children and attend church on Sunday and youth group on Wednesday

Requirements:

̈ Be at least 21 years old

̈ Pass an FBI and CPS background check

̈ Clean driving record

̈ Have earned a Bachelor's degree in education, social services, or ministry; or have at least six months experience working with youth

̈ Adhere to and be willing to teach a conservative, fundamental, traditional lifestyle

̈ Physically able to engage in activities with youth

Starting Salary & Benefits:

̈ $35,000 - $40,000 / year (each) depending on education and experience.
