We learn , grow , and achieve more – in our careers and in our communities.The Procedural Care Unit sees an average of 55 cases daily offering a fast-paced environment PCU provides care before and after procedures for Electrophysiology Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular labs Procedures include TAVRs ablations biopsies catheterizations etc
PCU is an outpatient/closed unit there are no floating requirementsWeekend one hour shift every eight weeks required either Saturday or Sunday
Scheduling eight week set/repeating schedule allowing you to know your schedule for better work life balanceOn call will be placed on call one weekend from seven am-seven pmone to two times yearlyED ICU or cardiac/intermediate experience preferredIf looking for role that challenging rewarding PCU could place for youProvides general nursing care patients families throughout continuum of care diverse acute healthcare settingsRN accountable practice nursing defined Ohio Board NursingRN delegates tasks licensed practical nurses LPNs unlicensed assistive personnel UAPs using criteria written Ohio Nurse Practice Act
Responsibilities And DutiesAssessment/Diagnosis Performs initial ongoing functional health status assessment applicable population individual Outcomes Identification/Planning Documents planned nursing interventions achieve outcomes appropriate patient needsImplementation/Evaluation Evaluates documents response nursing interventions achievement outcomes appropriately determined intervalsRevised plan care based evaluative dataLeadership Actively participates process improvement activities targeted measures clinical quality customer satisfaction financial performanceOperationsHigh Reliability Organization HRO responsibilities focus safety efficiency performing job dutiesMinimum QualificationsAssociate Degree BLS Basic Life Support American Heart Association RN Registered Nurse Ohio Board Nursing Access all high-level positions and get the job of your dreams.
