- Complete enrollment tasks of prospective families into the program
- Establish relationships with family's while maintaining professional roles and boundaries through home visits, meetings, and other means of contact
- Encourage parent/guardian involvement in the program
- Plan and facilitate parent and family workshops and events with other staff
- Participate in community resource opportunities and establish strong relationships to facilitate the delivery of services to children and families
- Maintain strict confidentiality of records and information regarding families, children, and program operations
- Keep proper and up-to-date records and documentation of all communication with families and staff
- Partner with other department staff to address family needs
- Assist in other departments as needed and requested
- Associate's degree or higher in Human Services required
- Experience with documentation and record keeping
- Reliable, consistent attendance
- Professional knowledge, skills, and attitude
- Ability to safely and physically transport a preschool/toddler/infant child; vision and hearing adequate to supervise children
- Hold or obtain CPR card for Adult, Child, & Infant within 90 days of employment
- Have ability to communicate with children, parents, staff, and professionals and work in a group setting
- Ability to be flexible and work as a member of a cooperative team
- Monday-Thursday 7AM-4PM
- Some Fridays (4 hours only) required throughout the school year
- 49 weeks paid (1 week off and unpaid in October, December, and July)
- Paid holidays and scheduled breaks
- Up to 5 paid emergency closure days
