Job DescriptionA leading International company in the development and manufacture of ventilators for intensive care units is looking for a Logistic/Packaging Technician for a part time job. Hours, 8am to 1pm, pay rate $20 per hour.
Job Summary: Responsible for packaging and shipping all sales orders including weighing, measuring, packing securely and ensuring shipments are ready for pickup at the appropriate date and following the company's procedures. Inspect incoming materials and document required information. Organize warehouse and maintain records of inventory up to date
Responsibilities:
• Perform finished goods/spare parts/accessories packaging process according to process and quality standards.
• Prepare necessary materials to supply assembly line according to production plan.
• Pack, stock, organize and rearrange products in warehouse.
• Organize and maintain records of inventory up to date.
• Perform cycling inventory on regular basis and report it to the supervisor.
• Manage and handle loading and unloading of materials and/or finished products.
• Operate and maintain pallet jack and dock plate as required.
• Handle and operate necessary tools, accessories and equipment in maintaining and managing a warehouse
• Monitor placed purchase orders to ensure reception of goods on time.
• Check and inspect goods received to ensure they are of accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality; record pertinent information.
• Control internal flow of materials and maintain its records up to date.
• Ensure all goods are labeled properly using lot and item numbers.
• Monitor materials needs by reorder point and inform supervisor.
• Manage preventive and planned maintenance programs for machinery and premises.
• Dispose recyclable and waste materials in the proper containers.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organized warehouse
• All other duties and housekeeping task as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
Bilingual is preferred - must read and write English
• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have basic skills on MS Windows and Excel
• Previous experience working with ERP. (preferred)
• Position requires attention to detail and ability to read and follow process instructions
• Must be able to read technical specifications to ensure functionality
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. independently not to exceed 50 lbs. without assistance
• Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop
• Interact with both management and co-workers maintaining a professional and respectful attitude
