    Singer Industrial is looking to add a first-point-of-contact position, as an

    IT Support Specialist , in order to provide technical assistance to customers/clients within a team-supported environment.

    This position will begin as remote and transition to an in-office position, in the Dallas, TX, in the coming months.

    Specifically, we are looking for an individual with the skills of being well-versed in all aspects of computer systems configuration, set up, and maintenance.

    The individual must be willing to learn new systems and the aspects of the assigned duties within. The ability to freely communicate, along with interpersonal skills, is a requirement to join our growing team.

    Responsibilities
    Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance, via phone, email or ticketing system
    Perform remote troubleshooting, with the possibility of on-site/in-person troubleshooting, through different diagnostic techniques and willing to ask pertinent questions based on the issue presented
    Take ownership of your assigned queue with possibly of assisting others with their queue load within a teamwork environment
    Possess ability to take detailed notes within internal ticketing system for every interaction with the user or any other pertinent information relating to the issue
    Strong communicator with teammates, management and users needing assistance
    Willing to accept projects as they are brought forth, including but not limited to, assistance in software & newly deployed projects
    Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
    Provide basic internet troubleshooting (initially) with possibility of growing within position to take on more advanced troubleshooting techniques
    Setting up new users to provide access to the intranet, ERP, Office 365, etc
    Offboard users resulting in revoking access to the intranet, ERP, Office 365, etc
    Assist in the creation of documentation (SOP/KB Articles/Procedures) and update information repositories
    Maintain security measures in an Enterprise environment
    Assistance in swapping out notebooks, desktop and network parts, as needed
    Monitor system performance for analytic purposes
    Strong proficiency with Windows 10, 11 and MS Office; Excel/Outlook is highly recommended
    Willingness to travel to other locations, when required
    Ability to lift 50 pounds, perform cable runs, bend, crouch and climb
