Completes clinical staff annual performance appraisals.
- Assists in daily operations including active involvement in clinical and service rounding, develops and delivers clinical content at staff meetings.
- Designs and implements a treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient's needs. Monitors patient's response and progress to treatment and modifies treatment plan as appropriate.
- Develops and participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department. Follows clinical practice guidelines of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) by impairment when appropriate. Coordinates regular chart audits and reviews for accurate and timely completion for assigned area/team including input of PI data as required.
- Regularly participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships with a minimum of two contacts per month.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Two or more years of work experience as a licensed and treating physical therapist
- Current valid State of Florida license as a Physical Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Sports Medicine and Rehab Patients
The role you'll contribute:
When you join our team of over 40 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew.
We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealth's mission in the communities we serve.
Assist in managing the clinical rehabilitation team (therapists, assistants, athletic trainers, technical aides, volunteers, and interns) with positive influence and by example while providing physical therapy in the outpatient rehabilitation setting.

Coordinates in-services by clinical staff and vendors.
Actively serves as a mentor or assigns a mentor from the team to new graduates.
Engages in promoting evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, teaching/mentoring/clinical instructor, and/or clinical practice education within a peer group.
Investigates, responds to, and resolves complaints independently.
Is available as a clinical resource for physicians, patients and staff.
Escalates issues, as appropriate, to the manager or senior management team for resolution.
Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community as approved by manager or director.
