Physician Assistant - Orthopedics - No call

Our sports medicine and orthopedics seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our practice in Berwyn, Illinois. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the orthopedic surgeon, assisting in both surgical procedures and clinic appointments. Around 80% is scopes, 10% Joints and the rest is hand and nerves. Our practice is fast paced, but we have a focus on quality of care and enjoyment outside work. There is no after hours call responsibility or weekend coverage. We're seeking a provider with some exposure to orthopedics and we're willing to train the right person in the role. 3 days a week are in the office and 2.5 in surgery. Here you'll work alongside the lead surgeon and our care team of supportive medical assistants.

Requirements:

Licensed in Illinois as a physician assistant.
Prefer a minimum 1 year of experience in orthopedics, preferably with surgical first assist and clinic experience.
Experience with EMR systems, preferably NExtGen.
Strong work ethic and dedication to providing high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

Traditional work week, Monday-Friday
3 days of clinic, usually 2.5 days of surgery
No call, no evenings or weekends.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive salary based on experience: $135,000 to $145,000+
Bonuses: After the first year there is an annual bonus up to 10% of the salary
Benefits include medical insurance, malpractice coverage, and a CME stipend.
15 days of paid time off (PTO) per year.
