Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:The Department of Physics (PHYS) in Texas Southern University is seeking to fill several part-time Instructor positions, at the level of adjunct Instructor. This appointment is without tenure and is not tenure track. This appointment is for one semester only and may be renewed as needed. The successful persons will be responsible to teach one or two Intro-laboratory sections or one Intro-physics course in the hired semester and assume a reasonable workload of related activities that constitute a 50% full-time instructional load; Schedule and maintain office hours for minimum of (2) hours per class per week in the hired semester, and perform scholarly activities, quality instruction and public service commensurate with the mission of Texas Southern University.

Education:A PhD or Master's degree in Physics or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required to teach undergraduate classes.
