- Assist in the evaluation, selection, integration, and testing of commercial off-the-shelf RF devices to build complex RF transceiver systems.
- Support the entire product life cycle, from concept to prototype to production.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 12+ years of relevant work experience.
- 8+ years of RF electronics experience.
- Strong background in electronic design.
- Comprehensive understanding of RF transceiver system design and cascade analysis.
- Experience with a variety of frequency bands from UHF to Ka.
- Proficiency with lab test equipment like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Knowledge of antenna theory fundamentals.
- US citizenship with eligibility for TS clearance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Encouraged Junior team mentoring.
- Understanding of DSP concepts.
- Proficiency in a high-level programming language (MATLAB, C++, Python).
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Integration of RF transceivers with FPGA-based systems.
- Working with high-speed ADCs and DACs.
- Preference for candidates with TS clearance with SSBI.

At Leidos, we are looking for a skilled candidate to become part of our dynamic team of engineers and scientists in the RF & Intelligence Solutions Department. Our mission is to understand, exploit, and assess foreign threats by engaging in RF design, custom hardware builds, algorithm development, and analysis for a wide range of research, development, and operational projects.
The chosen candidate will work on projects for the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and other Prime contractors.
