To perform modification work and structural repairs on experimental, production and fielded aircraft.
Job Responsibilities:
of operations where standard methods are available.
o Repairs a variety of malfunctions concerned with complex aircraft assemblies, landing
gear systems, props, optional equipment and hydraulic and pressurization systems.
o Performs sheet metal and assembly work in the performance of modification and service
work.
o Performs minor upholstery and touchup type paint work.
Education:
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
Requires the use of arithmetic, blueprints and specifications plus a knowledge of aircraft engine
principles.
Experience:
Requires a minimum of 3 years aircraft modification and service experience.
Working Conditions:
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions due to non-continuous exposure to noise, weather, fuel and
other liquids as necessary.
