Job summary
The Trellis School is hiring entry-level Autism Instructors for full-time positions.We are seeking individuals who are passionate about working with children with autism and have a strong desire to make a positive impact in their lives.
As an Autism Instructor at The Trellis School, you will work one-on-one with our learners and receive extensive training and coaching in behavior management.
You will develop and execute naturalistic lesson plans outside of the classroom for learners that incorporate motivation and individualized education plan skills,
- Demonstrate the use of evidence based (ABA/VB) teaching strategies to shape skills across learning environments
- Implement learners' individualized behavior, toileting, and feeding protocols
- Accurately complete daily data tracking and input responsibilities
- Implement feedback and instructional recommendations made by school team (teacher, BCBA, program specialists)
