Job summary
Balance room restaurant and bar daily work post and balance charges and settlements in a timely and efficient manner maintain files and reset the systems for next day operations also works as a front desk agent during a shift as needed greet customers immediately with a friendly sincere welcome use positive clear speaking voice listen to understand requests respond with appropriate action provide accurate information such as outlet hours local attractions complete registration process by inputting retrieving information from computer system confirming pertinent information including several guests room rate make an appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs code electronic keys certificates coupons as required verify imprint credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods handle cash make change balance assigned house bank accept record vouchers travelers checks other forms of payment perform accurate moderately complex arithmetic functions using calculator post charges to guest rooms house accounts using computer promptly answer telephone using positive clear English communication input messages into computer retrieve messages communicate content to guest retrieve mail small packages facsimiles for customers as requested adhere all company policies procedures follows safety security procedures rules knows department fire prevention emergency procedures utilizes protective equipment reports unsafe conditions supervisor manager reports accidents injuries near misses property damage loss supervisor manager provides safe work environment following safety security procedures rules maintains neat clean well groomed appearance assists other Front Desk Personnel when needed performs related duties requested by supervisor manager
