    Description


    Under the direction of the Corporate Controller, the Senior Accountant will support daily accounting functions of multiple business entities, including journal entries, general ledger analysis, fixed assets, expense analysis, sales/use tax, and bank transactions.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Perform month-end activities according to the closing schedule, such as journal entry preparation, results analysis, GL account reconciliations, verification, and production of financial statements and management reports.

    Produce monthly financial reporting for multiple business entities.
    Assist in the coordination and completion of annual financial audits.
    Assist in establishing and implementing proper accounting processes, methods, policies, and principles.
    Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures. Produce ad-hoc accounting reports as requested.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
    Proven knowledge of accounting principles (US-GAAP), practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
    Demonstrated experience in financial statement and financial reporting preparation.
    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
    Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management with previous manufacturing industry experience preferred.
    Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects.
    Excellent verbal and written communication
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
    5-10 years of accounting experience
    Ability to work onsite 3 days per week required.
