Veterinarian – Grand Junction, CO
A growing animal care practice is seeking a licensed Veterinarian to join its clinical team. This opportunity offers a supportive environment where doctors are encouraged to practice high-quality medicine, build long-term client relationships, and expand their clinical expertise while contributing to a collaborative care culture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment for companion animals
Perform medical evaluations, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications
Conduct routine surgical procedures and medical treatments as needed
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care recommendations
Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Collaborate with veterinary teams to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care
Qualifications
DVM or equivalent degree
Active veterinary license in the applicable state
DEA registration required
Experience in small-animal medicine and routine surgery preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
Commitment to compassionate, ethical patient care
