    Job Summary:


    Preferred Care at Home of Central Fairfield is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver for immediate hire at our Danbury, Connecticut location.

    This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical industry within our franchise.

    The caregiver will provide assistance and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.


    Compensation & Benefits:
    This is a part-time position with competitive hourly pay.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide personal care services to clients in their homes, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
    • Assist with mobility and provide safe transfers.
    • Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
    • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Companionship and social interaction with clients to promote mental and emotional wellbeing.
    • Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the care team.
    • Keep detailed records of daily activities and observations.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Ability to pass a background check.
    • Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
    • Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy nature.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
