    CT Technologist, Cleveland Heights, OH- 12 Week Contract

    Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for CT Technologist to work onsite in Cleveland Heights, OH.

    Shift: Days Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm

    EMR Used: EPIC

    Job Requirements:

    The Computed Tomography (C.T.) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.

    Duties:
    • Operate head or body x-ray scanners which create a computer-generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan
    • Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations
    • Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of a variety of procedures
    • Take patient medical history before an exam
    • Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated
    • Determine and set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
    • Assume responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients
    • Supervised by a board-certified radiologist but afforded a great amount of independence and responsibility


    Qualifications:
    • 2 years in current setting
    • Current ARRT RT(R) credential required.
    • Current ARRT (CT) credential required.
    • ODH License
    • Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association only.
    • 2+ years' experience working in level 1 trauma.
