    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Actively enforce safety rules and company policies by leading by example.
    Plan and organize available resources (employees, materials, time, and
    equipment) to best meet efficiency, quality, and safety goals. Monitor and adapt
    plans throughout the shift as needed
    Effectively communicate and coordinate with all departments.
    Actively engage in waste reduction efforts in all areas.
    Lead continuous improvement efforts as assigned.
    Responsible for maintaining high sanitation standards.
    Ensure all required process control and tracking documentation is completed.
    Assist in training of new employees in job duties.
    Required to cover various positions and shifts in department when needed.
    Promote retention and provide a workplace culture that is clean, organized,
    positive, safe and that supports the mission, vision, guiding principles, and values
    of the organization.
    Proven Leadership Qualities
    Must have written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate
    clearly across all departments.
    Knowledge of all areas of production procedures.
    Excellent organization and creativity skills.
    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and
    memos.
    Ability to write short correspondence and ability to present information to direct
    reports and management.
    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
    situations where only limited standardization exists.
    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or
    schedule form.
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units or measure, using whole
    numbers, common fractions and decimals.
    Ability to convert units of measurement.
    Must be available all shifts; to include nights, weekend and holidays.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    At least 1 year of related experience.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to bend, stand, sit, walk, and reach. Ability to see and operate a computer as well as manual dexterity to handle paperwork is required. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to climb stairs. WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The job will be performed in a wet manufacturing environment and will work around machines and equipment with moderate/loud noise levels.
