    The company specializes in producing high-tolerance, complex geometry parts; machined out of standard and exotic metals.

    Primus works directly with all major aerospace manufacturers (e.g., Boeing, Lockheed, Northrop) to provide components to mission-critical civilian and defense programs.

    Primus Aerospace seeks a weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

    Maintenance Technician to work on-site at our Lakewood faculty.

    The maintenance technician is responsible for performing and/or managing internal and external resources to perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.

    The position does not manage other employees.

    Requirements Create and coordinate the Preventative Maintenance program Perform and/or coordinate external resources for general and/or extensive maintenance and repair on CNC and manual machines (lathes and mills).Perform minor building repairs (touch-up paint, drywall patchwork, hanging safety signs, etc.).

    Coordinate external resources for plumbing, electrical, compressed air systems, etc.

    for all maintenance requirementsManage the cost for maintenance to achieve the balance of machine availability and budget Maintain inventory of repaired equipment, and supplies.

    Implement preventative maintenance measures to prolong the life of machinery. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production runs and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment. Comply with safety regulations, and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments as required. Hours are from 6 am - 6:30 pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday.


    Shift Differential:
    4 additional hours of pay. There is an opportunity for overtime. Willing or able to be on-call during the week for assistance with emergencies.
