    Job Description

    GL Staffing is looking for a Warehouse Material Handler in Pompano Beach, Florida.

    Paying $16 per hour.

    Schedule: Monday - Friday first shift and occasional weekends. Overtime may be required every other day and on alternating weekends.

    Primary Responsibilities: Warehouse Material Handler

    • Perform inventory control tasks such as cycle counts, material stocking, and scrapping.
    • Assist in managing material expiry, allocation, kitting, and maintaining material condition requirements.
    • Move materials from receiving or production areas to designated storage areas.
    • Inspect received materials, sort, place, and mark them with identifying information.
    • Record amounts of material received and distributed, ensuring on-time logistics.
    • Record material handling data according to SOPs.
    • Work in a team environment to complete kitting and delivery tasks based on the shift schedule.
    • Assist with month-end inventory count and ordering parts as directed.
    • Cross-train and rotate tasks as needed.
    • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, following safety regulations.
    • Contribute to team efforts as required.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Ability to read and understand English.
    • 1+ year of shipping, receiving, and warehouse experience. Forklift Certification preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiar with WMS systems.
    • Capable of standing for 8 hours, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in a safe manner when handling heavier items.
    • Detail-oriented, able to follow work orders and communicate effectively with team members.
    • Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to troubleshoot receiving and inventory issues.

    Job Type: Full-time, Salary: $16.00 per hour
