    SUMMARY OF POSITION

As a Project Engineer with Clean Scapes, you'll be an asset in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of landscape construction projects, helping us maintain our reputation for excellence in building world class spaces that will leave legacies on our cities for decades to come.

    ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES

    Project Oversight:

    Work directly with Project Managers to support the lifecycle of landscape construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure excellent execution.


    Budget Management:
    Monitor project budgets, track expenses, buy out material, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize profitability.

    Documentation Control:
    Maintain accurate project records, including change orders, progress reports, and financial documents.

    Contract Management:
    Assist in contract administration, ensuring compliance with terms, conditions, and specifications.

    Subcontractor Coordination:
    Collaborate with subcontractors, managing their performance and ensuring work aligns with project objectives.

    Resource Allocation:
    Support Project Managers in coordinating equipment and materials to optimize project efficiency.

    Team Collaboration:
    Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, Landscape Architects, Engineers, and contractors.

    Problem Resolution:
    Proactively identify and resolve project issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.

    Continuous Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for process efficiency, innovation, and cost savings.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
    Demonstrated ability to self-manage and to set and achieve goals
    Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
    Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities that focus on serving clients and fellow employees
    Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization
    Competent to strong in Microsoft Excel
    Ability to read construction plans, experience with On-Screen Take Off, and an understanding of financial statements is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
    While a degree is impressive, we recognize that what's on paper doesn't define you. Many of us have honed our craft at work rather than school. We'll consider both as a foundation of talent.
    Experience in construction is a plus, but not a requirement.
