    Job DescriptionSalary: $23/hour or Dependent on experience

    Our client is seeking an experienced Paralegal with a can-do attitude to support their fast-paced office with civil litigation, real estate, construction, and creditors' rights matters. This individual will have at least 5 years of paralegal experience, excellent attention to detail, ability to write and research effectively, the ability to work under pressure, and great communication skills. This position is required to work in-person at our Kansas City Crossroads office.

    They offer a fun atmosphere where they work hard and play hard with great office hours

    • Monday through Thursday, 8 am – 5 pm
    • Friday, 8 am – 2 pm

    Ideal candidate will have law firm experience and incredibly strong attention to detail, work well independently, have the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities, work well with strong personalities both internally and externally, have a professional demeanor and communication style, and the ability to take direction as necessary. You will also have a passion for the industry, and this position could suit a recent law graduate, as there is an opportunity for career progression.

    • MUST have previous experience with e-filing
    • Preferred experience working in litigation, civil and business litigation, and real estate.
    • MUST have previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
    • Familiarity with billable hours and case management software preferred.

    • You have e-filing experience (KS & MO preferred)
    • You have experience with legal drafting
    • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience in case management software, preferably in CLIO, Casenet, E-Flex, JIMS, and PACER
    • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, energized team
    • You have a positive mindset and can do anything you put your mind to
    • You have excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills
    • You are a self-motivator who works well with little to no supervision and is driven to meet deadlines and goals
    • Ability to work in a cooperative and positive manner with coworkers
    • You have knowledge of law office procedures and local court/jurisdiction rules and procedure - or the willingness and ability to learn
