Description
SUMMARY
Provide IT Leadership for the Cultural and Economic Development ("CED") business unit ("BU") including but not limited to oversight of third-party vendor services and internal IT support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
Provides leadership to direct technology resources and managed services vendors to provide service desk, asset management, cybersecurity, and other technology functions as required.
Identifies recurring issues and ensures quick resolution or escalation to minimize business interruptions.
Provides vendor management to ensure SLAs are adhered to; continuous business operations, and projects are completed on time and within budget.
Provide technology oversight for use of audio and video equipment and technology.
Maintains, revises, and develops as needed, processes and procedures for areas of responsibilities to ensure a secure operational environment.
Focuses on aligning IT priorities and technology to support strategic and business initiatives.
Supports back-office technology, as well as customer facing solutions and operations.
Track vendor invoices, project expenses, prepare budget to actual reports, prepare expense reports, and communicate with vendors and internal departments.
Ensures timely communication to business leaders regarding problem resolution and project status information.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
Supervise/manage a department and have authority over hiring/firing/performance decisions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field and minimum of 10 years of IT leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrated knowledge in technology leadership with advance. knowledge in end user computing (Mac/PC), infrastructure, cybersecurity, and environment using O365 and Azure Services.
Knowledge of establishing and implementing IT policy, metrics reporting, and HR responsibilities for IT staff.
Demonstrated leadership skills with abilities to prioritize work assignments and projects.
Demonstrated skills in customer service and vendor management.
Proven ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
Ability to analyze, understand, and effectively communicate deep technical material.
Proven project management skills including creating a portfolio, program management, gathering requirements, leading projects from start to successful completion.
Ability to manage multiple assignments, demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail and leading without direct supervision,
Ability to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Excellent written, organization, attention to detail, communication, and presentation.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license,
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting. Work will require local travel with limited overnight stays. Work will require to be available 24x7 in the event of a BU IT operations interruption. Work will require light physical effort and handling of average-weight objects up to 15lbs with some standing or walking.
