    Description

    Provide programming and machining expertise. Program, set-up, and operate

    machinery for the fabrication/production of parts. Maintain quality and safety standards;

    keep records; maintain equipment and supplies.

    Principal Responsibilities:

    • Develop CNC programs for mills based on drawings and models
    • Analyze drawings, blueprints, and design data in order to calculate correct part

    dimension for machines, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates

    • Monitor output and proper operation of mechanical equipment. Make mechanical

    and/or program adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quantity and quality

    Compensation:

    $23-25 +$2 shift differential = hourly)

    Hours:

    2nd shift only

    Monday-Friday

    6:00pm-2:30 am

    Requirements

    • Interact with computer-based controllers (conversational and G&M code) to enter

    and/or edit job programs and tool selection information

    • Plan, understand, and interpret drawings, specifications, material, and operating

    instructions before and while running operations and equipment

    • Produce and inspect parts against drawings specifications within time allotted;

    ensuring product meets specified quality standards

    • Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers, and

    fixtures and gauges to check work to drawings

    • Inspect parts against blueprints and specifications; ensuring product meets

    specified quality standards

    • Update related paperwork (work orders and in-process inspection sheets) upon

    completion of tasks

    Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
    • Basic math and trigonometry skills
    • Blueprint with GD&T reading capabilities
    • Proficient understanding of G-code and M-code programming
    • Strong understanding of CAD systems
    • Ability to work tool-kit and make edits when needed
    • AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience
    • Experience working with three (3) and five (5) axis equipment machining both

    aluminum and steel
