Job summary
JTG is currently seeking Analytical Linguists to support a federal law enforcement customer.The job requires monitoring, translating, transcribing and interpreting communications in English and one of the following languages: Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Haitian Creole or Jamaican Patois.
Responsibilities include listening to or reading foreign language communications, performing verbal summaries into English and transcribing the spoken word of a language into the written form of the same language,
- Translating orally either consecutively or simultaneously from one language to another.
