    NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a leading company to find a detail-oriented Payroll Manager. The ideal candidate will lead the payroll function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with state and federal regulations. This role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on payroll execution, offering a unique blend of leadership and operational involvement.

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
    • Proficiency in ADP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • 10+ years of related experience in payroll management.
    • Experience with ERP systems and understanding of data flow from ERP to payroll.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

    Preferred:

    • Experience leading both the payroll team and function.
    • Proven track record of process improvement in payroll operations.
    • Experience handling payroll for both U.S. and Canadian employees.
