    Description

    Nexus Power is the leading independent sales representative for ABB (and others), covering Utah, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Southern Nevada, Wyoming, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. This position is responsible for fulfilling customer needs concerning technical review of projects, preparing schedules, compiling equipment and services bills of material, communication with sales, factories, and customers. The position requires a strong, detailed, and customer focused individual, who can listen to customer needs and manage their expectations. Previous industrial/commercial experience in construction and electrical products (switchgear, transformers, motor control) is preferred.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Cultivate long term business relationships.
    • Review technical documents such as one line/power diagrams, equipment specifications and contractor take-offs.
    • Consult with salespeople, customers, engineers, owners, and electrical distributors.
    • Negotiate with vendors.
    • Strong time management skills
    • Ability to collaborate with team and develop a comprehensive strategy to successfully complete a project.

    Qualifications/ Experience

    • Electrical quotations/estimating experience preferred.
    • Pattern of success within their industry
    • Excellent organization skills (oral and written)
    • Excels at communication, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and working under pressure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook and Excel).
    • Strong prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills with a custom service focus.
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or 2-4+ years of experience in the electrical field.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.
    • A team player who works productively with a wide range of people as well as independently.

    Compensation is Base Salary with a year-end bonus based on business success. Benefits plan includes Medical, 401(k), Long Term Disability and Paid Time Off.
