    Join Our Dynamic Gastroenterology Team as a Locum Physician in Lakewood, CO

    Elevate your medical career by providing essential gastrointestinal care in a busy, Level 1 Trauma hospital setting.

    Engage in a variety of procedures including ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, and GI bleed management, all within a supportive and well-equipped environment.

    Required Skills:
    Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
    Proven proficiency in ERCP, EUS, and Endoscopy procedures
    Valid Colorado medical license or applicable licensing credentials
    Demonstrated ability to manage adult and geriatric patient populations
    Competence in EMR documentation, preferably EPIC
    Strong communication and teamwork skills
    Ability to work independently with minimal support


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
    Prior locum or temporary assignment experience
    Familiarity with hospitalist and intensivist coordination
    Additional procedural skills such as GI bleed management and GI evaluations


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
    Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in gastroenterology
    Recent experience performing ERCP and related procedures
    Active Colorado medical license or eligible for licensure
    Credentialed or credentialing in other facilities preferred


    Other Requirements:
    Availability to start on December 8, 2025, with ongoing coverage through early 2025
    Able to commit to 5-7 days per month, with shifts ending at 7 a.m. the following day
    Willingness to stay at designated preferred hotels with negotiated rates
    Ability to complete necessary credentialing, EMR training, and pre-application processes promptly
    Travel preferences include local or drive-in candidates; please specify any travel restrictions or exceptions
    No support staff required; independent practice setup preferred
