Medical Director - Addiction Medicine
Bonus: 20% performance based bonus
Unrestricted MD or DO in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine and licensed or eligible New Jersey license
~ Experience in addiction medicine and a residential behavioral healthcare environment (preferred)
~ Ability to communicate and work effectively with medical staff, patients, clinical support and administrative staff
~ Proficiency in use of electronic health records

They provide a confidential admissions process and a wide range of cutting-edge treatments that are tailored to each patient's needs.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of practice experience in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with an active license to practice in New Jersey and who is DEA certified.
Provides technical advice to the Executive Director on matters that require medical judgment.Supervises the development, implementation and operation of a quality assurance program as it relates to patient care and participates in quality improvement processes.
Oversees, monitors and updates the Facilitys medical policies and procedures.Assists in recruiting, hiring, orienting, monitoring, directing, coaching, and evaluating medical staff.
Maintains and enhances the highest standards of healthcare delivery to all patients
Ensures that all healthcare services are provided in the most cost effective and efficient manner
Assists in the development of data, statistics and performance outcomes and measures, and compliance reporting.
Provides consultation and peer review for all medical staff at the facility.
Work in collaboration with other health professionals and leaders from other disciplines.
Provides and arranges after-hours call coverage in coordination with other medical staff ensuring continuity of patient care.
