    We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care in our Operating Room on a PRN basis.

    Description:

    Job Summary: The successful candidate will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the operating room environment. They will be responsible for making decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicating effectively with physicians, patients, family members, and personnel from other departments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess and prioritize patient needs in the operating room setting.
    • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
    • Provide high-quality nursing care within established standards of practice and Center policies.
    • Maintain open communication with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
    • Current licensure in Louisiana.
    • CPR certification is required; advanced life support certification is preferred.
    • Minimum one year of experience in an intra-operative setting.
    • Demonstrated clinical competence, leadership abilities, and teaching skills.
    • Physical and emotional ability to perform the duties of the position.
