    Client Benefits Specialist, Employee Health & Benefits

    As our Client Benefits Specialist with our Employee Health & Benefits team (EHB) with Marsh & McLennan Agency, you will be the one our customers go to for benefits related enrollment questions and assistance in real-time. Every day, you'll be researching and working with carriers to resolve questions and concerns for our customers. Whether researching client concerns or updating benefit enrollment software, you're focused on the details and getting people the right information. To thrive in this role you don't need any insurance experience - we'll teach you what you need to know. However, you should be a detail-oriented person with at least two (2) years of customer service experience, benefits administration a plus. You should know how to multi-task and provide top-notch customer service.

    Here's what you can expect on a typical day:
    • Using technology to process solutions for customers. You'll work across multiple systems to find answers on the fly.
    • Asking questions. Most people don't understand how insurance works or what they're asking. You need to ask the right questions to clarify and assist them. Plus, there are always questions you may not know the answer to. You have to know when to ask others, too.
    • Answering requests from customers and co-workers within the standard turnaround time whether it's assisting with enrollment, helping with an ID card, researching a claim question or something else.
    • Dialing into the details. Your details are critical to making sure our customers are covered. You have to make sure the data you enter is accurate.
    • Working within internal systems and external carrier site to reconcile/resolve client invoices for variances.
