    Description

    About the Position

    Coppell ISD is seeking a qualified Coppell ISD ESL Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Language Acquisition Specialist to provide instructional support to learners who require additional assistance due to limited English proficiency.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Teaching and Learning: Assist Language Acquisition Specialist in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays, collect data to document learner progress, and keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
    • Program Management: Assist with all BOY and EOY testing, prepare paperwork for LPAC meetings, assist with meeting preparation, and maintain cumulative folder maintenance.
    • Professional Growth: Maintain confidentiality, participate in staff development programs, faculty meetings, and special events as assigned.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

    • A High School Diploma or GED certificate
    • Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (may be applied for once employed)
    • Experience working with school-aged children and technology preferred

    Working Conditions

    This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances. You will work under the general supervision of the campus principal and under the immediate direction of the certified Language Acquisition Specialist.
