A Series A Start-Up are on a mission to revolutionize e-commerce by reshaping the shopping experience. Their innovative platform enables customers to engage and transact seamlessly within conversation threads, redefining the way people shop online. Reporting to the CTO, they are currently hiring for a Software Engineer (Machine Learning), who has proven expeirence owning their own workstreams and worked on ML Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the development and scaling of AI products and platforms, focusing on refining conversational AI bots, enhancing e-commerce search functionality, and optimizing product recommendation systems.
• Take ownership of designing and developing the AI Marketing platform from conceptualization to production.
• Lead the entire machine learning lifecycle, including project definition and driving excellence across teams.
• Create highly scalable classifiers and tools using machine learning, data regression, and rule-based models.
• Explore innovative approaches for recommender systems through experimentation.
• Gather and synthesize requirements, contributing to the design and development of an impactful feature roadmap.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Large Language Models.
• Demonstrated experience in building large-scale production systems.
• Knowledge of common MLOps tooling/platforms.
